Kojo Funds has released the video for his new single ‘Long Time’, the latest song to be taken from his new EP HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN.
‘Long Time’ opens the HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN with an R&B bounce as Kojo’s smooth flow celebrates, “cherishing the enduring bonds and quiet strengths in your life.” Continuing he says, “’Long Time’ is a heartfelt reminder to be grateful for loved ones and the richness of what you possess, even when it feels like it’s not enough.”
The HELLO IT’S ME AGAIN is a record of thankfulness, reflecting the overcoming of obstacles, and displaying eternal gratitude for the support of loved ones as he now celebrates a decade in the game.
The diverse new record showcases the development on the gritty Afroswing he birthed in East London. Now in 2026, Kojo is widely broadening his scope, from the likes of recent single ‘How Many’ with its bright Dancehall and Afrobeat, to the silky R&B and bass laden ‘Ready’. His feelgood thankfulness is extended into ‘With You’ alongside the shimmering Afroswing of ‘Problems’, while the EP closes with the bass heavy Afrobeat club anthem ‘I Need’.

Kojo Funds burst onto the scene in 2016 with a string of singles including the street anthem ‘Dun Talkin’ (feat. Abra Cadabra)’, which became a cornerstone of the Afroswing movement. What followed was a whirlwind of further hits including likes of ‘Check (with RAYE)’ and ‘Finders Keepers’ with Mabel, alongside a number of MOBO Award nominations for Funds including Best Newcomer and Best Song. His debut album Golden Boy arrived in 2018 to widespread critical praise landing Kojo enviable titles such as the King, Godfather and Pioneer of Afroswing.
He has continued to release consistent multimillion streamed hits and the demand for Funds has not wavered. Still holding over a million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, and over 500 million streams on the platform, 2026 now sees Kojo Funds return to his rightful throne and continue to reign supreme over Afroswing and beyond.
