The sun shone down on the fields of Bee’s Wing Farm in Emo, Co. Laois last night as Forest Fest 2026 came to a close – marking the end of a festival weekend that will go down in history as one of Ireland’s greatest. Welcoming 16,000 per day to the event’s brand new home at Bee’s Wing Farm in Emo, Co. Laois, performances from headliners Echo & The Bunnymen, James and Madness were just the breathtaking tip of the iceberg.
In a line-up to rival the heyday of the likes of Féile, Glastonbury or The Isle of Wight, the weekend saw incredible sets from Deacon Blue, The Boomtown Rats, The Charlatans, The Undertones, The Coronas, Paul Brady, Mary Coughlan, Gemma Hayes, The Sultans of Ping, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, Feeder, Kerbdog, Power of Dreams, Aoife Destruction, Mik Pyro, Jack Lukeman, Lloyd Cole, The Frank & Walters, Camille O’Sullivan, David Kitt, HamsandwicH and many, many more.

As always, Ireland’s folk and trad scene was represented by the best of the best on the Fleadh Stage, including Kíla and Brass, Derek Warfield & The Young Wolfetones, Cherish the Ladies, Jiggy, The Henry Girls and more.
Emerging artists and Irish indie scene favourites on the Perfect Day Stage included razor-sharp performances from the likes of The Minutes, Babyrat, Thanks Mom, Sadhbh Keane, How I Became A Wave and Grooveline, amongst others. And, brand new to Forest Fest, the Kickin’ Up Dust Stage welcomed standout performances from Country and Americana stars like Nathan Carter, Michael English, Clíona Hagan, Mike Denver, Hermitage Green and Dave Lofts.
The festival has become well-known for booking some of the world’s most well-respected tribute acts, and the weekend included blazing sets from Seattle Grunge Experience, Rattle and Hum, The Specials Ltd, Mack Fleetwood, Absolute Eagles and more.
Over the course of the weekend, the sun shone down on the beautiful fields of Emo as it played host to six stages and an incredible range of additional attractions including the Pyro Collective, a breathtaking fire spectacle; The Flying Objects Record Store; a dedicated merchandise stand with brand new Forest Fest merchandise; The Greenhouse Stage, which served as a focal point for sustainability talks and panel discussions across the weekend and the Casa Bacardi venue serving specialty drinks.

Forest Fest actively supports local enterprise, with glamping provided by Abbeyleix-based Pitched Perfect and craft beers supplied by Wicklow Wolf and Ballykilcavan Brewing Co. Partners for 2026 included Heineken, Bacardi, High Noon, My Waste and European Recycling Platform.
