Singular Artists proudly present Editors for a headline tour at Vicar Street, Dublin on 28 February 2027 and Ulster Hall, Belfast on 01 March 2027.

Tickets are available from singularartists.ie on Friday, 1 May at 10am.

Editors return with brand new single, ‘Call It In’, and news of 2027 tour dates across the UK & EU. ‘Call It In’ marks the band’s first new music since 2022’s studio album EBM, and emerges from studio sessions in between Tom Smith’s debut solo record There Is Nothing In The Dark That Isn’t There In The Light and ongoing live dates.

Evolution has always been at the core of Editors’ output over seven studio albums and ‘Call It In’ teases the next chapter of one of the UK’s most cherished bands. On the single, frontman Tom Smith has said;

“We spent a lot of summer ‘25 holed up in rural Gloucestershire, working on songs with all of us in a room, in a more traditional band set up.‘Call It In’ is one of the newest songs we worked on, it’s a song about asking for help, really, in the presence of an existential dread, finding solace and comfort in someone close, escaping the deafening noise of modern life.”  The track, which is out now via Play It Again Sam, is accompanied by a video directed by the band’s guitarist Justin Lockey.

Formed in 2002, having met at university in Birmingham, Editors have released seven studio albums all of which achieved top 10 status in the UK. Their debut album, The Back Room (2005) received a Mercury Prize nomination and the 2007 follow up, An End Has A Start, reached number 1 in the UK and went on to earn a Brit Award nomination.

Their 2009 album In This Light And On This Evening also hit the top spot in the UK album charts and they released their last album, EBM in 2022. Never afraid to musically explore different shades and colours, over the past 20+ years they have become one of the U.K.’s most loved and acclaimed bands both at home and around the world.
