Uk Headline Tour Is Now Underway
Huge Uk / European Tour With Sofia Isella Starts Next Month
Seb Lowe’s music feels like the time-honoured tradition of the protest song applied to the tumultuous chaos of the 2020s. Yet he proves that classic, lyrically-intense style is as relevant today as it has ever been, amassing over 6 million streams every month as well as having 630,000 followers at TikTok. Now he shares the new single ‘One Day To Live’. It comes as his current UK headline tour is underway, and ahead of an extensive UK and European tour with dark pop princess Sofia Isella next month.
Always excelling at asking probing questions through music, ‘One Day To Live’ sees Seb examine how different groups of people would experience their final day on earth. It should be a question of idealism – a final chance to do something you love or to achieve something new. Instead it’s a matter of inequality – the small percentage of people that are wealthy can do what they please, but for the vast majority it’s just a day of survival like any other.

‘One Day To Live’ is set to an hypnotic indie-folk groove, which keeps the issue at the forefront of the song while remaining as instantly memorable as previous releases such as ‘Don’t Say No To Hitler’ and ‘I’m Hateful, I’m Horrible, I Love You’.
Seb says, “‘What would you do with just one day to live?’ is a question us humans love to ask. I’ve heard it more times than I can count, as something set to incite some kind of epic, life-altering reflection about what truly matters. Truth is, it doesn’t. Truth is, if most people on this earth had ‘one day to live’ they could only do very little. It is only with immense privilege and resources that someone might be able to see and do all that they want with one day.
In darker truth, many people do actually have one day to live, all of the time. In the belly of a warzone, many final days are tragically spent desperately trying to survive. In ‘One Day to Live’ a variety of over-privileged idiots, over a vaguely suave instrumental, either naively or sadistically, ask the question of ‘what you would do?’, to come to the inevitable conclusion that most people’s ‘final day’ would look very different to theirs.”
‘One Day To Live’ was written solely by Seb Lowe. It was produced by James Skelly of The Coral and was engineered by Chris Taylor (Blossoms, Rachel Chinouriri). The song also features his live band, Kate Couriel (violin) and Joel Goodwin (drums).
Seb Lowe’s strong online following is matched in the live arena, where intense, charismatic performances have connected with new fans at festivals including Truck, Y NOT? and the Neighbourhood Weekender. Beyond the upcoming headline and Sofia Isella tours, his summer schedule also includes his debut Reading Festival set as well as a gig as special guest to Pulp at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park.
