Celebrate Twenty Years Together with the New

20th Anniversary Edition of the Classic Debut ‘No Love Lost’

Coming To Vinyl for the First Time

Out September 25th – Pre-Order Here

New November Headline Tour Will See the Band Play the Album in Full

The Rifles celebrate 20 years together with big plans for the year ahead. First up is a new 20th Anniversary Edition of their cult classic debut album ‘No Love Lost’, which will be released on September 25th and will be released on vinyl for the very first time. And then the band will embark upon a very special anniversary tour in November, during which they will play the album in full alongside other fan favourites.

Vocalist/guitarist Joel Stoker says, “Thinking back to our early twenties where it all started, and not a care in the world. Now older, and none the wiser with 20 years spent on our journey together we’re going back to where it all started! We look forward to seeing some new and (older!) familiar faces.”

‘No Love Lost’ still sounds like a call to arms. Sharp, restless, and unmistakably London. Released in 2006, this debut didn’t just introduce The Rifles; it announced them with urgency and a knowing nod to the lineage of The Jam and The Clash, reframed for a new generation.

The eleven original tracks capture the immediacy of youth, nights out, and the bittersweet comedown after. Produced by Ian Broudie, its chiming guitars, driving rhythms, and Joel Stoker’s unmistakable vocal – equal parts defiance and vulnerability – set The Rifles apart. Featuring fan favourites and live staples such as ‘Local Boy’, ‘Peace & Quiet’ and ‘Robin Hood’, it was an album that soundtracked mid-2000s Britain while quietly building a loyal following that remains to this day.

‘No Love Lost: 20th Anniversary Edition’ is now available to pre-order HERE. It will be released on CD, digital and  three vinyl formats: limited edition neon green marble, limited edition pink-and-black split, and pink. All physical formats add two previously unreleased bonus tracks from the original sessions as well as alternate artwork. The CD also adds track-by-track commentary by the band. All album bundles purchased from the band’s official store will be rewarded with a signed print.

Fans who pre-order the album will receive access to a pre-sale for tour tickets, which is now live. Remaining tickets will then go on general sale HERE at 10am on Friday, March 27th.

Still consisting of their original line-up, The Rifles have travelled their own path since debuting with ‘No Love Lost’, earning a devoted fanbase and regularly selling out London shows at the likes of The Roundhouse, O2 Academy Brixton and KOKO. Their most recent album, 2024’s ‘Love Your Neighbour’, became their first #1 on the UK Official Independent Albums Chart. Clash praised the record’s “vivacious energy,” while the Daily Star hailed them as “One of indie’s ultimate cults… stuffed with reliably stomping good time singalongs.” They also recently released the second volume of their ‘Unplugged Album’ series.

In addition to the 20th anniversary tour dates, listed below, The Rifles will also play the Brighton Mod Weekender on August 27th.
