New York alt-rockers Wheatus are set to embark on a major UK and Ireland tour, with the Academy Dublin and The Limelight Belfast taking place on 23rd & 24th of November respectively.
Marking the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album. The tour kicks off on November 23 at The Academy in Dublin and concludes with a grand finale at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on December 13, featuring special guests Bowling for Soup and Punk Rock Factory
Fans can look forward to hearing the band perform their entire debut album live, including the iconic hit “Teenage Dirtbag.” Additionally, the band will take audience requests for other favourites from their 30-year career.
The tour comes amid a resurgence in Wheatus’s popularity, fuelled by the viral “Teenage Dirtbag” trend on TikTok, which garnered over two billion views in less than a month.
Tickets for the tour went on sale on April 25 at 10am local time, with London tickets already available.
