announce first ever NORTH AMERICAN TOUR
+ an Irish Festival date @ All Together Now, Waterford
Today rising Dublin alt-pop band Soda Blonde usher in a new chapter with the release of their latest single ‘Suit & Tie’. Where earlier releases explored belief and ambition, the new song, built around industrial guitar, liquid production and a relentless forward pulse, was inspired by Ireland’s recent cultural resurgence. The band’s Faye O’Rourke says, “I wrote ‘Suit & Tie’ about my own feelings of un-belonging and displacement. I didn’t grow up with a strong sense of national identity (my mother is from Dublin and my father is from London) and I began to explore my current feelings of loss and isolation through that lens while living in the Liberties, a part of Dublin with a very strong sense of itself. The song became a way of reclaiming something I felt I’d lost.” Listen / share ‘Suit & Tie’ here.

After building a devoted following across Ireland, the UK and Europe, Soda Blonde also announce their first tour of North America. The run kicks off September 11 in Detroit and concludes in St. Louis on October 9. Along the way they will play at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on September 15 and The Echo in Los Angeles on October 3. Tickets are on-sale Friday, February 27 at 10am local and will be available here. See dates below.
Formed in Dublin in 2019 by members of Little Green Cars who, Soda Blonde have since built a reputation for emotionally charged performances and immersive sound that has drawn a steadily growing international fanbase. Three studio albums in, their trajectory accelerated sharply in 2025 when they played to packed rooms at SXSW, toured The UK and European, and released the People Pleaser EP here. The band closed the year with an ambitious live orchestral project with Ireland’s National Symphony Orchestra at Dublin’s National Concert Hall, captured in both a concert film (watch ‘Dream Big’ here) and a live album here. Both that release and the People Pleaser reached #2 on the Irish Independent Charts, sealing a year that expanded Soda Blonde’s scale, ambition, and reach – and set the foundation for what comes next.
Soda Blonde is Faye O’Rourke (vocals), Adam O’Regan (guitar/keys), Donagh Seaver-O’Leary (bass) and Dylan Lynch (drums).
