Saint Etienne’s first ever live performance was on November 15th 1990 at Heaven nightclub in London just a few months after the release of their debut single ‘Only Love Can Break Your Heart’. Although the band haven’t been the most prolific live act over the last 35 years they’ve played most major festivals around the globe and visited more countries than Bob Stanley, Pete Wiggs and Sarah Cracknell can count on their combined fingers. Saint Etienne has just announced their headline show in the 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Tuesday 22nd September 2026 as part of their The Long Goodbye Final UK & IRE Tour.
Tickets €42.85-€82.90 (Inc Booking Fee & Venue Restoration Levy) • Ticketmaster.Ie

Saint Etienne UK tours have included support acts Oasis, Stereolab, Broadcast and Pulp and the band have appeared on festival bills alongside the great and the good, from James Brown to Kyle Minogue and too many others to mention.
But unlike most of their predecessors or peers Saint Etienne wish to bow out on a high with their dignity intact. Their final studio album ‘International’ released in September 2025 was a pop music masterclass that reminded us of what we love about the band. Shows to celebrate its release and the band’s long goodbye were promised and now we have news of their final UK tour in September 2026.
It’s not something to be sad about as the band are planning a series of parties to be remembered. Live sets that pick the “best of the best” from their illustrious 35 year, 17 UK top 40 singles and 13 album catalogue.
Roll up, roll up as we celebrate Saint Etienne’s final UK tour which stops in at…
