Blair Gilmour Bio
Blair is a 19 year old multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter from Irvine, in Scotland. He plays guitar, keyboard, harmonica and drums, plus any other instruments he feels can inspire him, help control his Tourette’s ticks, or contribute to the therapeutic aspirations behind his music. He started singing as a solo artist aged 13 and has already played some great venues including King Tuts, The Classic Grand, The Clutha Bar and the iconic Barrowlands in Glasgow.
He is constantly writing and producing new material and developing his sound, walking a path that avoids the corporate ‘4-chord structure’ in favour of spontaneous music that comes from beneath the skin, taken day-to-day and reacting to heartbreak and joyful observation in equal measure. Always organic and always original, his vocals are recognisable, with a distinctive tone and a slight hint of accent. He describes his musical style as ‘Alt-Indie’ and some of his tracks have an anthemic vibe that would satisfy any stadium audience.
Blair is an exciting artist who sees music as healing, for both him and his audience. He immerses himself in music on a sensory level, uncovering the secrets of writing, producing and performing and enjoying the journey along with his listeners.
Lauren Wallace Bio
Lauren Wallace is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter from Dublin, Ireland. Her music blends influences from contemporary pop artists like Gracie Abrams and Olivia Rodrigo, to the more alt – indie inspirations of Adrianne Lenker, and songwriter Lizzy McAlpine as well as Irish musicians, both new and established, who have shaped the singer-songwriter genre. With a fresh perspective, Lauren is developing her own sound, rooted in both modern pop and with an undeniably Indie flavour celebrating her intimate yet artful lyricism
The 17 year old teenager has been cutting her teeth under the guidance of industry professional Jono Mc Neil, and honing her song writing skills over the last year.
Her debut extended EP ‘Salt Stained Lungs’ which came out September, is a stunning collection of heartfelt, assertive and delicate songs written and performed by Lauren, showcasing a sensitive songwriter exploring themes of friendship, grief and growth.
This summer has seen Lauren perform to packed rooms in Ireland and the UK, including The Ruby Sessions, The Workmans Club Dublin, The Half Moon in London as well as studio sessions for radio stations Today FM and FM104.

Didn’t Wanna Try
“The first verse of DWT lived in my head for a good few months before I ever even met Blair. I loved it; it was cute and blunt in a way my songs usually aren’t, but I just couldn’t finish it. It was supposed to be a way of working through a messy situation that was taking up too much of my thinking time, but instead it just aided and abetted my oversized feelings spiral. That’s where Blair comes in. I met him for the first time at an open mic in Tower Bridge, and I had no clue what or who I was walking into. We both did our sets, and later on we ended up singing a Bruce Springsteen song together and for four minutes I felt like I knew him. The next day we were in the studio and I showed him the first verse of Didn’t Wanna Try and the rest is history.
This song is super special to me because it didn’t just help me come to terms with my sticky lil situation, but it made my world so much bigger. Blair is a ridiculously talented human being and I’ve grown so much as a writer and as a person since meeting him, he accidentally showed me that life is bigger than people who don’t want to date you.
We hope this song means as much to you as it does to us” – Lauren Wallace
“‘Initially, Lauren & I met at an open mic night the day before we took to the studio. Being teens of the music industry we felt a deep connection and understanding on feeling misheard by people closest to us sometimes. The next day in the studio, Lauren showed her untitled demo for “Didn’t Wanna Try”. Our whole conversation from the night prior started to flow between the lines we were writing and the rest is pretty much history. Meeting Lauren through music has shown me not only how this industry can connect people but also how its a way for people soundtrack a moment in their life (or an era). That’s exactly what this song is for me, a moment between two friends, musicians, where nothing besides helping each other out matters'” – Blair Gilmour
