London singer-songwriter Erica Manzoli consolidates her bold new era with the release of her six-track EP, First Girl On The Moon–OUT NOW. The countdown to the release of the painstakingly curated, cinematic collection culminates with new visuals for the luminous title track as Manzoli and band plan to bring her world to life at London’s The Grace on Tue 10 March 2026 followed by seven further UK and EU dates in support of Em Beihold and Eileen Alister.

The EP gathers fan favourites Burn The Internet, Dear Other Woman, Suzy Loves Sam and Princess Prudence, a catalogue that has gained BBC Radio 1 and Spotify support, alongside two previously unreleased tracks, opener Breakup Blues and the celestial, closing centrepiece First Girl On The Moon. Across six songs, Manzoli explores love in all its contradictions, digital-age disillusionment, imagined heartbreak, awkward intimacy, romantic uncertainty and, ultimately, dizzying first love

Each of those foundational releases have steadily built Manzoli’s reputation as one of the UK’s most intriguing emerging voices, given additional colour as her artistry bleeds into still and moving imagery. Suzy Loves Sam arrived complete with a self-directed visual inspired by Wes Anderson’s offbeat aesthetics and ambiguous sense of time and place, while a giant moon starred in the video for Dear Other Women, propelling Manzoli through the usual limitations of a DIY artist to determinedly fulfil her ambitious creative vision.

A love song wrapped in 1960s space-age optimism, First Girl On The Moon arrives complete with its own stunning Hollywood on Borehamwood budget video and draws the emotional through-line from Manzoli’s first single to the last: radical honesty delivered with melodic restraint.  Capturing the exact second of emotional lift-off, the EP’s final act beautifully captures the moment someone realises they are falling for someone, and the earth disappears from beneath their feet.

“’First Girl on the Moon’ is a love song inspired by the space age optimism and retro futurism of the 1960s,” says Manzoli.  “I wrote it about the exact moment I realised I was falling in love for the first time, that feeling of stepping into an entirely new world and suddenly feeling weightless. Sonically, it nods to sci-fi and early broadcast experimentation, the kind of playful, otherworldly textures you’d hear on Doctor Who from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, with theremin and omnichord appearing through the song.

“I wanted it to feel a little silly and kitsch but still emotionally honest, which encapsulates the cinematic spirit of the EP. I can’t wait to perform it live at my headline show, especially with the six-foot moon that appears on my EP cover.”

Manzoli’s previous live performances, including shows with Remy Bond, Zinadelphia, Gabriela Bee and Kings Elliott, have already hinted at her flair for theatrical staging.  In announcing her first major headline show of 2026 at The Grace, that sense of stagecraft is set to compliment her introspective song writing in an immersive live experience.
