Flawed Mangoes is the project of Boston-based producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Evan Lo, whose hypnotic blend of ambient guitar, lo-fi, shoegaze, and electronic production has built a massive global audience. After beginning his career posting mixes to SoundCloud and collaborating with artists including Royal & the Serpent and Josh Pan, Lo went viral in 2023 with “Killswitch Lullaby” after sharing his atmospheric guitar loops on TikTok. The track helped spark the “hopecore” sound, leading to hundreds of millions of views and streams across platforms.
Today, Flawed Mangoes has amassed 600M+ global streams, 1.6M+ TikTok followers, and 480K+ Instagram followers, with “The Beginning,” “Swimming,” and “Dramamine” collectively surpassing 200M Spotify streams. His growing list of collaborators includes SOMBR, Øneheart, Skepta, Royal & the Serpent, and Josh Pan, alongside an appearance on Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon stream and a feature from Billboard.
