With just two weeks to kick-off, Wider Than Pictures, the concert series at The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, is the outro Dublin’s summer deserves. Now in its fifth year, it’s cemented itself as a cornerstone of the city’s live outdoor music scene.
Held over six nights at one of the city’s most stunningly historic locations, the series brings fans together each night for a carefully curated line-up of some of the biggest names in music today. It’s a rare chance to see world-class acts up close, set against the backdrop of Collins Barracks’ striking 17th-century architecture, a setting unlike anywhere else in the city. From the first note to the last encore, Wider Than Pictures has built a reputation for turning a single night into an experience, part concert, part occasion, and entirely unmissable. As the series enters its fifth year, it continues to prove why it’s become one of the most anticipated fixtures on Dublin’s summer calendar.
