Having fast become a staple of summer in Dublin, Wider Than Pictures celebrates its fifth year this August as one of the country’s most highly anticipated concert series.

Taking place in one of the most easily accessible and visually stunning locations in the city, The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, which sits outside the buzzing  village of Stoneybatter, the venue’s historical courtyard provides unparalleled sound for the diverse line-up of world-class live acts curated by Singular Artists.

Each night offers an exceptional, expertly-curated line-up, with special guests that are headliners in their own right. Welsh rock legends Super Furry Animals bring their era-defining, euphoric psychedelia to the stage, with the commanding Baxter Dury and high-energy Irish trio Really Good Time in tow. The singular Faye Webster weaves her signature indie-pop spell, supported by groundshaking Irish punk outfit SPRINTS and hotly-tipped London artist Amie Blu. Australia’s finest, the ferocious and irresistible Amyl and The Sniffers, tear it up with Philadelphia rockers Mannequin Pussy and Irish alternative artist SPIDER alongside. Cult bedroom-pop hero Mac DeMarco headlines a sold-out show, with Tex Crik opening. And Peruvian-born Berlin DJ and producer Sofia Kourtesis sets the tone for berlioz’ deep in it.

Of the Wider Than Pictures series, The Irish Times wrote: “The sound is perfectly contained within the courtyard of Collins Barracks.” Over the past five years, the series has played host to headliners such as Deacon Blue, Gossip, James Blunt, First Aid Kit, YUNGBLUD, The Vamps, Mick Flannery, Future Islands, Franz Ferdinand, Alt J, Simply Red and Fleet Foxes.
