The Band Headline the Coventry City Promotion Party

In War Memorial Park Today

As they prepare to headline Coventry City’s WE ARE BACK: LIVE promotion party later today in War Memorial Park in front of 50,000 fans, local heroes The Enemy now announce a big celebration of their own. They will commemorate the 20th anniversary of their Platinum-certified #1 debut ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’ by headlining a special homecoming show atthe indoor arena at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday, March 20th 2027.

This will be The Enemy’s biggest headline show since they sold-out the 10,000-capacity venue (then the Ricoh Arena) all the way back in 2008. The trio also achieved a lifetime ambition earlier this season when they performed on the pitch ahead of Coventry’s 3-1 victory over Sheffield United.

Tickets for the show go on sale HERE from 10am on Friday, May 8th.

Vocalist/guitarist Tom Clarke says, “We’re all incredibly excited to return to Coventry Arena in March. Last time we headlined that space it was a great night, but this time with the added buzz around Coventry City FC we expect the atmosphere will be even more emotionally charged. It has all the ingredients for an unforgettable, once in lifetime event.”

‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’ changed everything for The Enemy. Beyond its #1 chart triumph and Platinum certification, it is packed with big hits, including the Top 10 ‘Away From Here’ and ‘Had Enough’, as well as numerous other fan favourites and live staples. Its breakthrough led to further success for the trio, including another two Top 10 albums, shows with all-time greats such Oasis and The Rolling Stones, festivals including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, and an NME Award.

After some time away, a new era in The Enemy started with a reunion of their original and only line-up in 2022 with bassist Andy Hopkins and drummer Liam Watts. Last year saw them release ‘Social Disguises’, their first new album in over a decade. Their return was highlighted with support including NME, Radio X, This Feeling’s Video of the Week, Shiiine On’s Track of the Week, Live4Ever, Stereoboard, XS Noize and Songbird HQ.The Enemy’s tour dates throughout the rest of the year continue on Friday, with a ‘Social Disguises’ homecoming headline show at Coventry’s HMV Empire this Friday. Festival dates include Tramlines, Y NOT? and Victorious, and they will also headline a special summer show at Blackpool Winter Gardens on August 28th. They return to arenas across the UK in November and December with a tour as special guests to Ocean Colour Scene. Please see HERE for a list of all shows
