Artist pre-sale tickets are on sale tomorrow at 10am (link here). Tickets go on general sale on Friday at 10am from ticketmaster.ie and singularartists.ie.  This is the final show to be announced as part of 2026’s Wider Than Pictures concert series, which will also see Amyl and the Sniffers, Berlioz, Mac DeMarco and Super Furry Animals welcomed to the historical courtyard of Collins Barracks, which transforms each August into Dublin’s most beautiful and conveniently-located outdoor concert venue.

Atlanta singer-songwriter Faye Webster has quietly become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary indie music, blending country, folk, R&B and indie rock into a sound that feels both intimate and genre-defying. Since breaking through with Atlanta Millionaires Club and its acclaimed follow-up I Know I’m Funny haha, Webster has built a devoted global audience drawn to her understated vocals, dry wit and emotionally precise songwriting.

Her 2024 album Underdressed at the Symphony takes its title from Webster’s habit of slipping anonymously into performances by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra during a difficult period in her life. “Going to the symphony was almost like therapy for me,” she says. “I got to leave what I felt like was kind of a shitty time in my life and be in this different world for a minute.”

Recorded live with her longtime band at Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas, the album embraces experimentation while preserving the spacious intimacy that defines Webster’s music. Pedal steel, orchestral flourishes, subtle synths and moments of vocoder appear throughout the record, captured in first- or second-take performances that highlight Webster’s instinctive songwriting.

The result further cemented her reputation as a singular artist operating between scenes. Rolling Stone called the album “a marvel of patient, obsessive contemplation,” while Pitchfork has praised Webster’s work for its “disarming emotional clarity.”

As her audience continues to expand worldwide, Webster remains defined by subtlety and sincerity, crafting songs that transform highly specific moments into quietly universal experiences.

Faye Webster plus special guests is the final show to be announced for 2026’s Wider Than Pictures concert series, which is entering its fifth year this August.

Taking place in one of the most easily accessible and visually stunning locations in the city, The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, the venue’s historical courtyard provides unparalleled sound for the diverse roster of world-class live acts curated by promoters Singular Artists. In a review of 2023’s Wider Than Pictures closing concert by Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand, The Irish Times observed, “The sound is perfectly contained within the courtyard of Collins Barracks”. Now in its third year, Wider Than Pictures has played host to headliners such as First Aid Kit, YUNGBLUD, The Vamps, Mick Flannery, Future Islands, Franz Ferdinand, Alt J, Thin Lizzy Orchestrated, Simply Red and Fleet Foxes.
