Jordana’s music has always possessed a powerful sense of place. From the quiet intimacy of a Kansas bedroom on her 2020 debut “Classical Notions”, to humid late-night New York walks on “Something To Say To You”, the kaleidoscopic glow of “Summer’s Over with TV Girl”, and the unmistakable sunshine of LA on 2024’s “Lively Premonitions”, her catalog maps a restless, evolving creative spirit. On her new semi self-titled EP “Jordanaland”, the 25-year-old songwriter has officially been writing from a land of her own now.

“Jordanaland is definitely an escape from Americaland,” Jordana explains. “It’s wherever you want it to be, just close your eyes.”
Recorded with friends Charlie Kilgore and Julian Kaufman of off-kilter pop group MICHELLE, Jordanaland finds Jordana in her most brightly coloured surroundings yet. Mixed by Grammy Award winners Olli Jacobs (Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, beabadoobee) and David Pizzimenti (Ella Mai, Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott), the EP bursts with a new confidence, one rooted in bold, self-assured pop.
“Pop music was definitely the goal,” says Jordana. “Self-assured, confident pop. I leaned into MICHELLE’s energy, and I’m in love with what we made.”
Whimsical on the surface but deeply honest at its core, Jordanaland balances joy with vulnerability. The title track transforms a tongue-in-cheek campaign slogan “Jordana, you can-a” into an irresistible refrain, while tracks like “Still Do” explore lingering love for those who let us down, “Like That” reflects on self-care promises, and “Hard Habit To Break” confronts struggles with alcoholism. Alongside these moments sit shimmering love songs and yearning pop gems, including “Burning Me Down,” “I Wanna Be,” and “Blouse.”
Long regarded as a genre chameleon, Jordana embraces constant reinvention. “There’s no expectation for me, or at least none I’m paying attention to,” she says. “I get to try new things all the time.”
The Jordanaland Tour comes to The Sound House in Dublin on Saturday, 30 May 2026.
