Following an 18 date UK tour with The Mary Wallopers and the announcement of more tour dates through June, SexyTadhg (pronounced Sexy-Tie-g), returns with the politically charged new single ‘My Parade(June 11th). Known for their theatricality, virtuosity, and fearless queer expression, SexyTadhg is ready to take over 2025 with their most powerful work to date.

With a growing reputation across Irish media as one of Ireland’s most unapologetically bold and genre-defying artists, the solo artist also announces the release of their upcoming EP Sexy, arriving July 9th, promising an intimate and theatrical joyous yet pointed and striking journey through themes of sex, defiance, and the wild beauty of being alive and queer in Ireland.

The new single ‘My Parade’ is an unfiltered, explosive Pride anthem, calling on listeners to celebrate their identities and take to the streets for justice, joy, and liberation. Set to thumping disco-rock production, the track is a love letter to queer Ireland and a rallying cry against the status quo.

Talking about the track, Sexytadhg explains: “This song has given me so much strength over the last year and has connected me to others who dream of making this horrific world a safer place. I really hope everyone who hears it gets that same feeling of hope and empowerment.”

Already hailed across nearly all Irish media including Irish Times, Today FM, RTÉ 2FM, RTÉ Radio 1 and with live performances on national Irish TV including on the Six O’Clock Show, Tahg has made a big impression in a short space of time. With performances ranging from: The Project Arts Centre stage with their critically acclaimed Fringe show Television, their collaboration with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, their sold-out UK tour supporting Loreen and The Mary Wallopers, and appearances at Electric Picnic, Beyond The Pale, and Other Voices have cemented their place as a vital voice in Irish music.

The new EP Sexy arrives after a wave of momentum that includes a Studio 8 session with Ray D’Arcy, interviews with Louise Cantillon and Tracy Clifford, and widespread media acclaim. SexyTadhg was recently named one of The Irish Times’ ’50 to Watch’ and received the Dublin Fringe Festival’s ‘Radical Spirit’ Award. Their bold commitment to the Irish language, queer visibility, and radical imagination threads through all their work, including their upcoming bilingual single Ceannasacht.
