Alexandra Kay Live in Dublin – Sold-Out ‘All I’ve Ever Known’ Tour at The Academy
Alexandra Kay Live Review Dublin
Country music may have its heart in Nashville, but last night, it found a temporary home in the heart of Dublin as Alexandra Kay brought her much-anticipated tour to the Academy music venue.
The sold-out show proving just how popular she has become not just in the U.S., but across the Atlantic as well. From the moment Kay and her band stepped on stage, the energy levels rose to a different level.

Opening with night with “Cupids a Cowgirl,” which was quickly followed by “Backroad Therapy, “the crowd wasted no time in getting into groove, dancing and singing with many decked out in true country style with cowboy hats and matching boots.
Having possibly first caught your eye with her viral covers and TikTok buzz, but if last night’s performance was any indication, Kay’s way more than just an internet sensation—she’s the real deal. Her setlist full of originality like the fiery “Best Worst Ex” and the heartfelt “All I’ve Ever Known,” she had the crowd completely hooked. Her music blending classic country with a fresh pop vibe.
The production was minimal yet striking, bathed in vibrant pink and blue lighting that gave the venue an unmistakable party vibe. Backed by three talented band members, the setup proved more than enough—when you have a voice like Alendra Kay’s, there’s little need for elaborate theatrics.

Closing the night with the powerful “Everleave,” Alexandra Kay delivered a finale that felt like the end of an emotional roller coaster — every rise, fall, twist, and turn leaving the audience both exhausted and exhilarated, yet somehow still hungry for more.
Thoughts on the overall night? This is exactly what country music is all about, great music, lots of emotion and one hell of a good night.

Chanel Yates
Opening the evening for Alexandra Kay was fast-rising UK country singer-songwriter Chanel Yates, whose set was anything but a warm-up act. modern country, weaving heartfelt lyricism with infectious melodies was the perfect introduction to the evening.
Standout tracks “Studio Apartment” and “Friend from Work” put her warm, rich vocals front and centre, while her natural charm and easy crowd banter quickly won over the room.
Its clear Chanel Yates has got the talent and stage presence to go far, and judging by the cheers between songs, plenty of people in the room became new fans. Without doubt one to keep an eye on.
